Dixie Belle Paint Company New All In One Silk Line

Have you heard the news? Dixie Belle Paint Company has a new line of paint called Silk All In One Mineral Paint. So what’s so great about it? Well, for starters it will save you so many steps. With this new paint, there is no need to prime or seal as it has a built in primer and top coat. The built in primer not only helps with adhesion but also helps block stains. It provides full coverage and a beautiful low reflective finish. Excellent durability with a 21-30 day cure time. The best part… you can paint using their black color, anchor, and it won’t leave fingerprints and smudges like you see with traditional chalk style paints. 🙌🏼

Here is some additional information on the new product.

  • Prepare your piece for Silk paint by scuff sanding.
  • After sanding, clean well with White Lightning and rinse away all residue.
  • Factory finishes, lacquer, laminate, glass, or plastic surfaces will require light scuff sanding and the application of Slick Stick for proper adhesion.
  • For increased durability, apply 2 coats of paint.
  • Apply Silk paint using a dry synthetic brush.
  • Cooler temperatures or higher humidity may prolong drying time.
  • 21 to 30 Day Cure Time
  • Viscosity might vary depending on pigments.
  • Do not thin Silk unless using a sprayer.
  • Store between 50-90°F (10-32°C.)
  • If you thin out Silk, we only recommend using water/Floetrol of no more than 8 ounces per gallon.
  • WHY CHOOSE SILK ALL IN ONE PAINT:
  • Built-in topcoat, primer, and water-based stain blocker
  • Stays looking new longer and requires fewer coats
  • Full coverage and strong coating
  • Low reflective finish
  • Excellent durability
  • Washable for an easy – clean finish
  • Water, Mildew and Grease Resistant

Here’s an antique dresser I just refinished in Anchor. As you can see, it’s a beautiful, smooth, low reflective finish and looks absolutely stunning paired with this stain.
